The long ceramic tradition of the Bajo Cinca region has its roots in its significant Moorish heritage, as evidenced by its place names. Its strategic location places it inherently on the border, always on the territorial limits, between important rivers that connect it to the different geographical areas of the northeastern Iberian Peninsula. These folk-style ceramic pieces possess a strong character, reflecting their rich history and the excellent clay found along the riverbanks. The pieces restored with iron staples evoke a Celtiberian version of kintsugi, an ancient Japanese technique that repairs broken pottery without concealing the fracture lines, highlighting them and endowing them with a poetic uniqueness that grants them a new life or a new function.
