HINDU VOTIVE CARVING

Semicircular carving on teak wood that was part of a ritual utensil for grain offerings related to Dharmic rites. It represents a Marwari horse in a genuflecting position situated between two circles that symbolize dawn and dusk, as it pulled the solar chariot according to the Samundra Manthan tradition.
